Essentially the same as a topographic survey except the contours represent the terrain under water.  The vertical reference for the underwater contours is Mean Low Low Water (MLLW) in the same Vertical Datum as the upland topographic contours.  The MLLW reference is required by the NY State Department of Environmental Conservation for dock permits.  We can refer qualified permit expediters for NYS DEC permit applications.
